Working with me gives you, and your partner, a chance to think about what you
can do to change and or improve your relationship. It provides a unique space for you to gain new perspectives about each other and the way you relate, along with new ways to communicate. It also gives you both a chance to explore complex situations within your relationship knowing that everything is strictly confidential and without judgement.
In allowing yourself this space and time, you can begin to make sense of how and why you feel the way you feel. By exploring your feelings it will lead to a greater understanding of your emotions/triggers and how to deal with the consequences of your behaviour.
There are a few ways that this can be approached:
Step One:
I will listen and talk to you both for up to one hour and a half about what's on your mind and what it is you both want. You may both find that this session is all you both need to clear your heads and help you both move forward.
Thereafter, plans can be put in place for follow up meeting or individual therapy.
Step Two:
I see you both individually and then both together.
This is highly recommended as it gives you both a change to be open with your feelings without the feeling of being misunderstood or judged by the other partner
We then all come together to work out a way forward where I can guide you both with a suggested way to move forward.
Step Three:
Depending on the circumstances, your also welcome to just come on your own as an alternative to find a safe space to air your feelings
